In a huge victory, Attorney Grover Collins of Collins Legal has secured a dismissal for his client, David Chase. Chase, charged with a DUI in 2014, has been dismissed with prejudice, meaning the charges cannot be brought back to court again.
In 2014, Chase was the Vice President of D.F. Chase, a company that Chase’s father had established 28 years prior. The client stepped away from one of the largest construction firms in Tennessee and overseeing future plans to develop the Virgin Hotel on Music Row days before he was indicted.
The dismissal of his DUI has been detrimental to securing Chase’s freedom and establishing a clean slate for him to move forward with.
The verdict was no easy feat. In 2014, Chase was also arrested for domestic violence twice in two days, in which he allegedly dragged his ex-girlfriend out of the apartment by the ponytail. Those charges were dropped in July 2015, but Chase still had to face accusations of extortion, blackmail, and bribery. With the dismissal of the DUI charges, Chase can finally move on with the rest of his life.
